I accept a ASUS ROG Strix G17 ES94 and information technology also had this same Mediatek crap. I started running into dropped connections and stuttering doing whatever type of gameplay or streaming. I purchased the Intel AX210 from Walmarts website for $28 recently and haven't had a unmarried trouble besides every bit doubling download speeds. Highly recommend for anyone dealing with a 2021 ASUS laptop containing a Mediatek card. That matter is crap!

I have ROG Strix G17 13IE, I'm facing the same issue. My processor is AMD RYZEN vii. can I use an intel carte du jour on this laptop?

Tysm for the tip! Simply replaced mine with the AX210 and already it feels SO much improve. Played a quick game of Overwatch and no issues anymore, with the Mediatek crap I had latency issues every single game

Seeing this only when connecting via Wi-Fi half-dozen, if I driblet back to 802.11ac the problem always clears upwardly. I can manually clear it by switching to 802.11ac and dorsum to 802.11ax in Device Managing director but the Wi-Fi half dozen functioning overall is pretty dismal unless you're right next to the Wi-Fi AP.

hey man i've got the same problem with my new zephyrus g15 with the same wifi carte . could yous please tell me what practice i exercise? i had a just about 3 days till i can return this laptop

I dealt with this for a calendar week and tried all the workarounds and decided it just wasn't worth it. Purchased the Intel AX210 for $28 and problem solved

None of the fixes will work forever for the Mediatek cards. Just switching to the Intel option solves it speedily and cheaply. No 1 should take to deal with the MT nonsense.

Anyone even so facing this effect, Plough off Bluetooth, if it's on and check. I accidently figured it out and it works in mine.

Human being, that is insane! Turning off bt works! Merely that makes me crazy. Can't nosotros have both working at the same time? A rhetorical question

Its stupid to even carp RMAing - Asus needs to stop using these cards period. Fire any cards they have and cut the cord.

I inverse my router thinking information technology was the routers fault and solved it, in whatsoever way I bought a wifi 6 one, so it wasn't the router afterward all?
To exist clear, it works with the wifi 6 router as it should.

I've seen yous mention in the comment above, that if you disable 802.11ax and change to ac makes it better, what speeds are yous getting?

Depending on altitude that downward speed goes up to 200-ish on AC. It can go near 400-500 on AX, just but up close to the AP and when it doesn't bug out. I'grand going to switch to Air-conditioning in Device Managing director and hope they release some driver update to ready this but its definitely the stupid Mediatek menu. Right now its totally unreliable to tell whether it'll bug out on download with Wi-Fi six enabled.
My iPad from the same location has no problems connecting via Wi-Fi 6.

Thanks changing it to air-conditioning fixed my upshot, hope this helps others.

Hey man ! My laptop has the same network card. Can I know the driver version of your network carte ?

There are only 2 driver versions that I found on the Asus site - neither is better. I have since swapped the card out and its much better now. V3.00.01.1095
